The sides are relatively easy to replace on this year (89-95) , because at one point in time , Toyota actually sold a "skin" themselves .

first off , the bed must be removed from the truck .

I then recommend making a template/outline , of the front profile of the bed . I use a piece of wood and clamp it up against the , outer , front wall . Then with a felt pen , make an out line of the bed sides and top of the panel ... This is so after the sides have been removed , you can put our glass panels on , and make sure the profile is correct , to match the cab .

The OE skins are held on with spot welds .. this is the hard part . each of the spot welds have to be drilled out .there are about 120 welds per panel . I have used an air chisel and grinder ...which makes things WAY faster .

Our glass panels will then fit on ... you'll "fit" the panel and then attach it .

there are quite a few different methods of attachment ... screwing , bolting ...pop riveting , and even gluing . just depends on how you want to do it .. Here we glue them on using 3M panel bonder , it has a life time guarantee on the bond .
